Year 8: Economic Activities

So you've got all your Christmas presents now but have you thought about where they were made? fifty years ago the chances would have been that most if not all your gifts would have been made in the UK, this is no longer the case, in fact are any of them made in the UK at all? Now its Boxing Day just check each of your presents for where they were made, make a list if you get time and note down how many items are made in China. Now ask yourself the question why is this and what effect does this have on the environment? We will discuss this when you return.
